Just received a Tardis from 'Layouts4u'. It comes with a blue LED in the roof and a flasher unit that runs off a couple of batteries. The Tardis itself will need a little work - the moulding has several bubbles in which I intend to fill. After a repaint I'll print off some suitable windows and signs and stick them in place. And the flasher unit will have to be modified to run off the 12V 'street lighting' supply on the layout.
The locals didn't seem to notice the Tardis materialising in the village
