Streets Ahead

A couple of areas of progress this evening. Firstly I've put down a layer of pollyfilla where the road will be as a base surface. This will be smoothed and then painted.

The 5 buildings on the following photo are now all complete. Only 1more house left to build.

Also some progress around the caravan park. After much deliberation I've decided the groundwork was not sufficiently flat to look right, so I've laid out corrugated card in the relevant areas. The large rectangle on the right is the static caravan field, smaller square is the camping field and then a couple of roads linking it all up.

Once this was all in place a fresh layer of pollyfilla soaked sheets to form the landscape. When this has dried they'll be a mammoth grass laying session!
