Recent work has been concentrated around the village in the last couple of weeks. The 12V lighting supply has been connected up and some scenic work behind the street has also progressed.
With the street lighting supply connected, internal lighting, together with street lighting are now 'live'.
Lighting in the 2 houses has just been fitted into some rooms.
The fish & chips shop is now open for business. The counter is a simple card construction covered in cooking foil.
Behind the shops and houses the park is under construction. This photo shows the fencing that bounds the children's playground. I just need to build the swings, slide and roundabout!
The Co-op now has a backyard. It's a simple construction of think card covered with brick paper. The capping is made from paving slab paper. I still need to manufacture the back gate.
Finally, a general view of the village showing how everything fits together. The brown ditch passing between the park and the houses is planned to be a stream...eventually!
