Numbers 6 and 8, High Street

We finally have the first living accommodation in Essington Village. The houses were planted about a week back and they have now had the front gardens added. They both have neatly mown lawns, but the flower beds have not yet been planted out. Round the back of the houses, they both have patio areas and a lawn, but no fencing yet to segregate the properties. The houses' internal lighting is not connected up - in fact, 'mains' 12V electricity hasn't reached the village at all yet! May be that will be a project for Friday evening?

No 6 & 8 High Street. 2 & 4 would be off to the right (just off the edge of the baseboard!)

The view down the High Street. Beyond the houses is the Co-op and beyond that the Fish & Chip shop (hidden in this view) and further still, the 6 arch 'Painton Viaduct'.
